| This can be done by portable machines carried onto the site or by heavy duty truck-mounted machines which remain outside. In both methods, a heated detergent solution is sprayed into the carpet pile and immediately extracted along with suspended soils. Differences among the various hot water extraction cleaning methods may be due to operator skill, solution temperature, spray pressure and vacuum power. Variations may incorporate ultrasonic or mechanical brush action. |
